Somedays, you really want to treat yourself to quality sweets and drinks. Cafe Joie right across from Metropolis in Burnaby is the perfect place to recharge yourself with artsy vibes and delicious pastries. My personal favorite flavors of macarons are the Vanilla, Green Tea, Pistachio and Earl Grey :) Paired with a green tea latte, I had the most satisfying experience, visually and taste-wise. PS that is what my face looks like on a more daily basis when I'm not going out to school or bigger events - quite shabby and ordinary, I know but your skin needs to breathe!
